3 Sample Images

Update: See 2020 art highlights here.
The following are my favorites of the images I’ve made in the last decade, primarily from the last several years. My objective is to create new images for the collective imagination. Most the work is digitally created from my own drawings, photos, and endless work with the drawing tablet. You could say I am a pioneer in using digital means for fine art purposes in the realm of imagery and the tradition of painting.
I’m engaged in a couple ongoing series:
1) Death’s Dream Kingdom
These are digital drawings done exclusively from the imagination, and unpremeditated. It is starting with a blank canvas and relying only on what I can come up with with my extant skills and creativity. You can see individual posts about each, with close-ups, process, and analysis… here. Below are the first 3 in a thumbnail gallery.
2) Selfies from Alternate Universes
I’ve created over 30 self-portraits, collaborating with AI, in which I never appear as my actual self, but as other ages, female, and even another race. These are large-scale digital paintings initially based on images created using FaceApp, but extensively edited, reworked, and recreated using software and traditional drawing/painting skills. Some are double portraits, set in peculiar locations, etc…. You can see posts for all of them, with details, process and meaning here. Below is a slideshow with thumbs of the images in the series so far:
Tapping the Unconscious
A third series is completed, and is made up of quicker images (taking up to several days) also done exclusively from the imagination and without premeditation. You can see that series of 49 images, with feature posts for every one, here. Below is a thumbnail slideshow.
Various images which are not part of a sustained series
These are in reverse-chronological order.

Below are the same images. Some have links to in-depth posts about them with close-ups, and background information about the process, meaning, etc.

Undeniably imagine that that you stated.
Your favourite reason appeared to be on the net the simplest factor to
understand of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider issues that
they just do not know about. You controlled to hit the
nail upon the top and also defined out the entire thing with no need side-effects , folks can take a signal.
Will likely be again to get more. Thank
you

You hit the nail on the top! Damn, that’s a great Google translation into English of Spam. I’ll keep the spam comment just for that.

It is so easy to recognise a good dancer, or musician, or actor; it is just as easy to recognise a good visual artist for those who have eyes to see.

“For those who have the eyes to see”. I think maybe those eyes need t to be trained a bit, just as one doesn’t really appreciate music without first spending a lot of time listening to music. Thus, what may be obviously good to someone who has looked at a lot of visual art may be bad to someone who hasn’t, and is mostly passively familiar with commercial images.
Cheers.
