This one’s 420 frames, and comes out to 17 seconds. It’s more sophisticated technically than my earlier animations, and the video includes sound.

Glad you like it. Yeah, it was really a lot of work because there are so many stages involved.

Is this inspiring you to making more full length animated stories? Nice job.

It does make that a remote possibility, but considering how much work it would be to just make 1 minute, I’ll probably stick to short animations to showcase imagery I produce. I looks like there’s a reason whole teams of people, who are getting paid, are necessary to produce real animations.

Very true. Notice the jillions of credits after a sci-fi or fantasy movie.

The rough thing for the individual artist, I’ve come to discover, is that as soon as you get good enough to do model and animate something in 3D, you have to compete with the big studios and are judged inferior. So, you have to be exceptionally good. Well, at least that’s possible with enough work.

Oh, good. That means I pulled off the animation not too clumsily.
