#33 Death of an Android, [18″x27″@300 doi., June/20/017.
Impasto liquid metal paint. Notice how some brush strokes carve into the Android head. If you don’t know my work, this is digital. This is a new direction I’m exploring, and you might expect some more offerings in a similar vein. The technique is something I’m developing on my own and can be a little difficult to control, but for a good stretch it was working very well. I’m also figuring out how to make these last few experiments larger, and look beautiful zoomed in all the way.

Here are some details:

Here’s all 33 pieces in the series so far in a slideshow.

Thanks for checking out my art and my blog. And if you want to help me continue this series I’m trying to raise at least a few hundred dollars a month to cover my basic living needs. See bellow.

And if you like my art and art criticism, and would like to see me keep working, please consider making a very small donation. Through Patreon, you can give $1 (or more) per significant new work I produce, and cap it at a maximum of $1 a month. Ah, if only I could amass a few hundred dollars per month this way, I could focus entirely on my art. See how it works here.

Or go directly to my account.

Or you can make a small, one time donation to help me keep on making art and blogging (and restore my faith in humanity simultaneously).
