New work underway. Still in the initial sketchy phase. This time I’m working in the near polar opposite way of the last piece. No drawing first. I’m just blocking in color, and rather clumsily at that. Later it will take on a very painterly and Expressionistic flavor, I think. Depends on my imagination, which I can’t necessarily control. I follow its lead.

What I’m after here is depicting everyday scenes, objects, and things. I want to integrate this sort of wholesomeness into my general repertoire.

There is probably going to be a fence and some spectators. There will be blood!

I’ll add more to the gallery as I progress my way through the image.
