Welcome to the second installment of never before released quotes. The easily-sharable graphics are by me, and they fit perfectly as images on the Facebook wall.

David-Hockney

Simone-de-Beauvoir

Franz-Kafka

Pablo-Picasso

Nabokov

Heidigger

Hope you enjoyed the second installment. There are 6 more coming in the last batch. Stay tuned.

The original source for these quotes is, again, at the blog of Jeff Lee, in his post: Inspirational and Thought-Provoking Quotes by Famous People, Artists, Philosophers etc. As I said in the first post, I highly recommend reading his original post to get the proper context and understanding of each of these quotes before sharing any of the material. If you have done so, than I encourage you to help spread awareness by disseminating a quote or more of your choosing.

Lastly, another quote by yours truly. No, I am not famous at all, nor even an attendant lord. But I DO come up with pithy quotes, and this blog is my little television set on the world, so sit back and enjoy the advertisement. And, nah, I don’t like doing self-promo, but, until I start making enough money on my art to cover even a fraction of my basic necessities, I don’t have much of a choice. Today’s artist must be computer savvy, a writer, a self-promoter, and an entertainer, in addition to being an artist.

Addendum: Just got off the phone with my guru friend, J. Sri Bhagovwid (a.k.a. “The Funny Guru”), and he said something so to-the-point I just had to jot it down and make a graphic for him, too. Maybe it’s good karma, or some shit.
